This another private genealogy website that has free access to New England, Mid-Atlantic states, and a large collection of church and cemetery records from Connecticut.

This is a private website which has a large database that has indexes to vital records, military records, court records, obituaries, and passenger lists.
Maine State Archives
This Maine state website has very large databases for marriages (1892 – 2009) and deaths (1960 – 2009). It also has access to divorce records (1800 – 1891) as well as records for soldiers of the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, The Mexican War, and the Civil War.
New Hampshire Genealogy and History
This large website has databases that most genealogy websites carry and has many links to other online resources like surname lists, message boards, maps, and has information on every county and many towns in New Hampshire.
Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries Commission
This website is much like the Find-A-Grave website in that it has an index to burials, dates of births and deaths, family member’s names, and a cemetery map of the burials.
Vermont Historical Society
This website has databases including but not limited to baptisms, marriages, deaths, naturalizations, and town records
